Trouble With Toast

The newest member of the family | August 18, 2008

Here he is!

He’s such a good boy, and keeps his mama company in the kitchen!  In fact, he even behaved well while I cooked a three-course dinner for company on Saturday night.  The meal was absolutely delicious, by the way, so I’ll post the recipes and tips over the course of this week.  Stay tuned for food-related content!

  4. Lem: He can’t wait to meet you! We will have much fun drinking beers at dog-friendly establishments.

Barbara: Yes, his name is Jack, and he’s a pitbull mix. He stole my heart from the moment I saw him!

Velvet: Aw, thanks, that means a lot coming from you (since your doggies are plenty cute themselves). He was on the short list to be put down at Fulton County Animal Control (because he’s a pit), and then his foster mommy found him. Then, lucky for us, she brought him to an adoption fair–and I took one look at him and said, “That’s MY dog!” He’s already brought so much joy into my life–and he’s a great jogging partner! 🙂
