Trouble With Toast

I have arrived! | June 3, 2008

No, not in the “I’m super successful and everyone knows my name” kind of way (trust me).  I’m physically in Atlanta–I have been for a little over a week, actually–and I am, as they say in this neck of the woods, plumb tuckered out.  Okay, they don’t really say that.  But they should.

I’ve been settling into a new (ish) city and a new (ish) job, so my cooking and my blogging have both suffered mightily.  I have made a few tried-and-true recipes in my parents’ awesome kitchen, and I’ve checked out a couple of pubs in the area, but I haven’t been fully able to transition to being a full-fledged Atlanta food blogger.  Boo.

We’re about to sign a lease, and I’m slowly getting the hang of things at work, so I hope in the very near future to be able to bring you all that is delicious in the ATL.  Stay tuned…

  1. Welcome to Hotlanta! I’m a GT alumna and lived on campus from 92-96. I just saw your post and wanted to be first to blog-welcome you.

Btw, I was the bread baker, back at the foodie blogger potluck this past winter. Cheers.

  4. Freckled, I miss you, too! Promise that you’ll go to Ray’s and have a steak for me. 😉
